SDW2B (see Walk Grades page) ** FULL ** ************ Bring morning tea and water We will be exploring the western section of Mapleton Conservation Park near Wappa Dam (nowhere near Mapleton!). The walk will follow existing trails through tall eucalypt forest,a few short hill climbs/descents. Morning tea will be in an area adjoining the upper reaches of the dam. On the recent recce walk we were lucky to observe a Kingfisher for several minutes darting and diving for breakfast. This walk is relatively unknown as it is \"off the beaten track\". Gate entrance to Wappa Park (Wappa Dam wall) Wappa Falls Road Via Yandina - travel 3.6 kilometres west along Wappa Falls Road from the Nambour Connection Road/ Wappa Falls Road intersection in Yandina
