Meet at the trail head just south of the tennis courts at Maleny showgrounds where there is parking available. Just under 10km walk with a gain and loss of 100m. The walk will follow the Maleny trail with a loop around the wetlands and Fairview House in the Maleny Community Precinct, and (water levels permitting) across the Obi Obi Creek to Gardners Falls and back. We will have morning tea somewhere around the falls. The paths are generally well formed, some concrete, some bush track, some mown grass or gravel. Be prepared to wade across the Obi Obi Creek (about knee high). About 2/3 of the walk is shaded.
