MDW2B (see Walk Grades page) Prospective Members Welcome Limit 16 people Bring morning, 2L water, lunch This is the southern end of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk. It is a scenic walk of approx 12km on a well-defined, graded track which passes through beautiful rainforest. The track makes its way up to the Baroon Lookout which has a great view of the Obi Obi Gorge and Baroon Pocket Dam. From the lookout the track descends a steep slope to the banks of the Obi Obi Creek. We will follow this creek until we reach Flat Rock for morning tea. We will return by the same track back to Baroon Pocket Dam.

What to bring:

Backpack
Walking shoes/boots
Appropriate clothing to suit conditions
Sufficient water (minimum 2L)
Whistle
First aid kit
Sunscreen
Hat
Insect repellent
