Mixture of SDW2C to MDW4C (see Walk Grades page) Members Only Limit 16 Bring base camp equipment, and walking - morning teas, lunches, water, hats, coats and warm weather gear due to being in Toowoomba mountain area. Toowoomba is placed on the top of the Great Dividing Range at 700m above sea level with an easterly escarpment to enjoy. The bushwalks over the weekend will included walking off the escarpment with the rugged track terrain, walking out and climbing to Mt Tabletop and also the smaller Mt Peel. First walk will be from midday on Friday – Tabletop Mountain, which is around 4 hours. Saturday – Jubilee Park and off down the escarpment to near Withcott and return. Queens Park and Mt Peel Sunday morning walk – TBA. Finish time TBC Accommodation will be at Toowoomba Motor Village – campsites $40 with power, $35 without power for 2 people / site and $5 extra for every extra person. Cabins and caravan sites are also available for anyone interested in this. People need to register their interest by 13th Feb and Sam will be doing one group booking for tent sites, so money will need to be paid by then.
