MTW3C (see Walk Grades page) Prospective Members Welcome (with relevant fitness, experience & equipment) Limit 10 or number of sites available Bring all your food & gear for a 4 day/3 night through-walk. Bring food in well sealed bags to hang up at night as there are small native marsupials around campsites. Toilets available at each of the walker\'s camps but sometimes runs out of toilet paper. Untreated water is also available at each camp so you will need to treat/filter water for drinking. Be prepared leeches in case there around. In the rugged Conondale Range, this park features luxuriant rainforests, tall eucalypt forests, waterfalls, boulder-strewn creeks and spectacular scenery. The diverse forests provide homes for a wonderful variety of wildlife including more than 120 species of birds and many mammals. The 56km Conondale Range Great Walk showcases the very best of Conondale National Park\'s natural features. A sculpture by internationally renowned artist Andy Goldsworthy is on the first days walk and compliments the stunning beauty of its environment. At the junction of Peters and Booloumba Creeks, scenic Booloumba Gorge features a lookout over cascades, falls, rock pools and the Breadknife rock formation. Min elevation 187m to Max elevation 828m approx. Once registered for the walk with Rod or Karen, please book your walker\'s camp sites on Queensland National Parks Booking Service as follows: Fri 20th Depart 9am Booloumba Creek Day use area Fri 20th walk 11kms to stay overnight at Wongai walkers\' camp Sat 21st walk 17kms to stay overnight at Tallowwood walkers\' camp Sun 22nd walk 15.2kms to stay overnight at Summer Falls walkers\' camp Mon 23rd walk 12kms back to Booloumba Creek Day use area Don\'t forget to print & bring your campsite tags (one for each night)
