This is the second stage of the clubs coastal pathway walk for 2026, this time the walk is Bokarina to Point Cartright.

Meeting at the carpark at the rear of the Kawana Community Hall / Library, we will walk to Kawana Shopping World to catch the 8.29am Translink bus back to where Stage 1 finished in Bokarina. Walking from Bokarina to Point Cartright along the coastal pathway will be all on the path with morning tea stop along the way (potentially at Kawana Surf Club) and then lunch at Point Cartright. The walk distance is 20km and the is minimal elevation change. Bring morning tea, lunch and a litre of water. There will be water stations along the way to fill up our bottles.

Remember to bring the Go Card or credit card for the 50c bus fare.

What to bring:

Backpack
Comfortable shoes for walking on footpaths
Appropriate clothing to suit conditions
Sufficient water (minimum 2L)
Whistle
First aid kit
Sunscreen
Hat
Insect repellent
rain coat / brollies if the weather has showers
morning tea and lunch
