Approx. 16km. Elevation gain/loss: approx. 275 m

Initially undulating walk along wide management tracks through towering trees past the Ubajee Walkers Camp. Then we take a single track down - reasonably steeply - into the Gheerulla valley through some drier casurina. There is a small rocky creek crossing just before we get to Gheerulla Falls.  We'll have morning tea here, and there'll probably be enough water for brave souls to swim.

We then zig-zag back up the hill, to have lunch at Ubajee lookout, where there's a splendid little view towards the Connondales.

Then back to our cars / bicycles / busses.
Possibility of a leech or two at the falls.
Take poles for the hill and the creek crossing if you like.
