Today we will be planting out the area that was de-weeded on our last visit,1hour walk into the site.

The club volunteers to Qld National Parks and Wildlife to maintain the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

The department and the club from time to time will:
Provide relevant training to develop the skills necessary to undertake tasks competently.
Provide work health and safety training to enable volunteers to undertake their role safely.

As a volunteer, you can expect to:
•    make connections with like-minded people and local QPWS Rangers,
•    gain hands-on experience with safe work methods and environmental management techniques,
•    learn about the different ecosystems and identify native and invasive species that exist along the Great Walk, and
•    enjoy being active outdoors and feel good about helping the environment.
