THIS WALK IS NOW FULL BUT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED CONTACT DOONE TO INCLUDE YOU ON A THE WAIT LIST IN CASE OF CANCELLATIONS

This event involves two shorter walks - one of around 5 km and the other around 3 km.

We will meet at the Amama Day use area and do a car shuffle to Cedar Grove Camping area (about 6km away). Once there we will do the Cedar Grove Forest walk (4.6 km) and the Cedar Grove Rainforest Loop (800m).

There are a couple of hills so some level of fitness is required but the walk is not challenging. There is a creek crossing so you may be required to rock hop. Poles may be useful.

We will then return to Amama Park and do the Cascades walk. The terrain is undulating and some scrambling over rocks is required as well as rock hopping across the creek.

There are toilets at both Amama Park and Cedar Grove Camping area.

Afterwards we can have something to eat at the Village Green Cafe at Amamoor.
