This walk is suitable for beginners. It follows a boardwalk from the Maleny Showgrounds , through rainforest beside Obi Obi Creek. After crossing the road there is a viewing platform where platypus can sometimes be seen. There are sculptures along the way. Up the hill, we will check out Pattemore House, (a state heritage listed property, built in 1907,) which has heritage gardens. Then downhill, back to the track. If the creek level is low, it is possible to cross and walk down to Gardner Falls.  Morning Tea will be at the picnic tables. (If the creek level is high, Gardner Falls can be accessed by car after the walk.)The return track follows the creek.
