Clean Up Australia Day - Cotton Tree Park

Clean Up Australia Day is a significant activity that the Club participates in every year.

This is our way to give back and protect the environment that we are lucky to be able to enjoy on our Club activities.

This year we will be cleaning up along Cotton Tree Park on the river esplanade and also around to the river mouth beach.

Meeting point will be the picnic tables across the road from Cafe 37.

We will break into small groups to do our collections. Collection bags and gloves are provided by Clean Up Australia.

After our collection we will enjoy a morning tea at the Park (provided by the Club) and those who wish to can have a swim.

There are toilet facilities at the Park.

What to bring:

Sun Protection - hat, long sleeves
Water bottle
Enclosed shoes
Gloves are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
Togs if you would like to have a swim afterward.
Money to buy flash takeaway coffee if you prefer to instant!
If you dont want to buy takeaway tea/coffee please bring your own cup and hot water. Will will have tea bags & instant coffee
