Please leave the page title untouched – this is included in the header of this page, and this page uses a customised template which only outputs the HTML header of this page, including navigation, which the new-member script scrapes and injects as the header of the new member script HTML (thus ensuring that any changes to the site menu are reflected in the external script output).
Text like this in the body of the page is not output at all, hence we can leave a helpful notice like this for anyone driving past to understand what is going on here.
We will meet at Coolum Beach for an 8am start. Those driving from the southern areas might like to car pool at Mudjimba Beach at 7:30. Otherwise the intention is to take the bus back to Coolum at the end of the walk. It runs every 30 minutes.
The walk takes us along the foreshore boardwalk from Coolum, over Pt Perry and across the cliff track at Pt Arkwright then through coastal bushland and along the beach intermittently from Yaroomba to Mudjimba. There is an option to add 1.5km sidetrip at Yaroomba Bushland Park if the group are keen on the day. The walk offers stunning views and with luck a glimpse of turtles, whales, sea eagles, ospreys and brahminy kites. A morning tea break will be at Marcoola Beach where there is the option to grab a coffee from one of the cafes.
