This hike has 2 parts - the first is a 2.7km heart pumping, calf burning hike up to the Mt Ninderry summit through wonderful open forest paths and steep stony steps to several beautiful views across the coast and hinterland. We will stop at both the eastern and western lookouts to enjoy the views.

On our descent for the 2nd part of our hike we will take a sneaky little path that hugs the side of Mt Ninderry and leads us to the residential estate on the other side. This path takes us past bracken ferns, paperbark trees and Xanthorrea - if we are lucky we may see a koala as this area is mentioned as highly suitable habitat for them.

The rest of our hike is through the residential streets of Ninderry with their amazing views of the coast.

The hike in total is probably only 5/6km but may feel a bit more because of the hills!

There are no toilet facilities at all on this hike.

Poles may be handy for the ascent/descent of the Mt Ninderry summit.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.

For anyone interested we will have morning tea at a small park nearby.
