Obi Obi Lookout in the Kondalilla National Park, is one of the clubs favourite walk destinations and at this time of year we have the added bonus of orchids in flower (well hopefully). After a car shuffle the walk will be along the Sunshine Coast Great Walk track to the Flaxton Walkers camp, where we will then head out to an area where views of the Obi Obi Valley can be enjoyed for morning tea. The track from the camp is undulating with rises up and down and not a graded track so be prepared. Lunch will be either back at the camp or in Mapleton township itself.

What to bring:

Backpack
Walking shoes/boots
Appropriate clothing to suit conditions
Long pants or gaiters as the grass in places may be long
Sufficient water (minimum 2L)
Morning tea and lunch (back at the cars)
Whistle
First aid kit
Sunscreen
Hat
Insect repellent
