To arrive at the meeting place, turn off McKinnon Road onto Old Tewantin Road.  Then drive up Old Tewantin Road approximately 600-800 metres.  You will see a large iron gate on your left.  This is our meeting place.

We begin with a scramble up towards the summit of Mt Tinbeerwah.  This is the hardest park of the walk.  This track brings us out onto Tinbeerwah Road.  As the carpark and summit are closed to the public for an upgrade, we will head down Tinbeerwah Road to our morning tea spot which is by a lovely waterfall just off the road.  We will then follow a fire trail back toward McKinnon Road passing through lush eucalypt forest where there is evidence of timber logging in bygone days.  Keep an eye out for wildflowers all around the trail at this time of year.  This is an easy 10km walk.
