Base Camp (See separate walk details) Prospective Members Welcome No Limit Bring your own camping gear, food and drinks. A small table and chair would be advisable if you want to eat under the tarp. This is a remote site with no potable water so bring your own. Access is via a graded unsealed road. The weekend is mainly a social event with an easy walk mid morning on Saturday and a more difficult walk on Sunday. The descriptions for both walks have been added to the calendar separately to allow others who may not be camping to register for these activities. For those who want to help with the setup you are welcome to come along on Friday morning and camping is open to everyone from Friday afternoon onwards. The camp will finish Sunday afternoon. This will be a base camp and the Club will have the tarp shelter, BBQ. gas ring, lights and fire wood. Portable toilets have been hired for the event.
