Walk Grade MDW2B (see walks grade page) Prospective Members Welcome People Limit 12 What to Bring: Morning tea, lunch, water 2 litres Drive to start of walk at Mapleton Forest Day Use Area. The first part of the walk is mainly down hill on tracks of varying quality to a weir above Nambour. Morning tea will be had on the way. This section also includes a creek crossing. We will then return to the creek crossing and from there take a different route to Kureelpa Falls for lunch. We will then return uphill completing a circuit back to the cars by mid afternoon. Approximately 14km. Mapleton Day Use area, Mapleton Forest Road, Mapleton. (Next car park after Leafy Lane carpark)

Backpack
Walking shoes/boots
Appropriate clothing to suit conditions
Sufficient water (minimum 2L)
Whistle
First aid kit
Sunscreen
Hat
