Walk 2 Kirby's Road Plateau

SDW4C (see Walk Grades page) Prospective Members Welcome Limit 15 Bring gaiters, Morning tea & 2 litres water We will follow a trail recently cleared by SCBWC volunteers for about 15 minutes meandering up an easy steep hill. On reaching a wide ridge line we will head east for an easy 5 minute walk before commencing a very steep 30 minute scramble up to the plateau. The final 15 minutes becomes much steeper,hang onto the trees and make your way to the top to enjoy magnificent views. There are many fire break trails for us to explore around the plateau. We return via another ridge with a short scrub bash. Bring your gaiters, long pants or wear shorts following those with gaiters. Meet Kirby\'s Road Environmental Reserve front gate, Kirby\'s Road Obi Obi.
