***CANCELLED due to timber harvesting*** LDW4C (see Walk Grades page) Members Only Limit 10 Bring morning tea, Lunch & Water Big Red is a fire management trail that climbs around 450m in approximantly 3.5 km, a good challenge! It is a good hours walk from Charlie Moreland to the base of Big Red, with some small hills as a warm up. Once we finally reach the top of Big Red, we will turn right and head largely down along a ridge line. We will then find a Management trail to head back down to the river valley. We will then follow this back to Charlie Moreland with some river crossings. This complete walk has not to my knowledge been done by the club so timings are uncertain but our return to Charlie Mooreland should be mid afternoon.
