This walk wanders around several lakes and through parklands. There are concrete paths around the lakes through remnant bushland around the wetland area where there is a bird hide and a viewing deck. 190 bird species have been  identified, including yellow tailed black cockatoos and black swans. Then a short walk uphill  past houses will take us down to more lakes surrounded by native trees and shrubs. There is  an avenue of plaques representing Australian Defence Forces operations  Morning tea will be at "The Local" a coffee shop in the park. 

The return is uphill via streets to the cars.
