Join Kate for a weekly (except last week of the month which will be Mt Ninderry) fitness hike around a 5km circuit at Parklands Conservation Park, between Nambour and Yandina.

This will generally take about 1 1/2 hours.

One of the circuits - Rocky Creek - is the Nambour ParkRun track. Nambour Park Run is known as the hardest Park Run in Australia! We will alternate between Rocky Creek and Coobong Circuits.

The tracks are generally wide maintenance tracks in good condition. There are numerous hills to get the heart rate up - poles can be handy for the down hill.... Both circuits do have a small creek crossing.

There are no amenities at Parklands.

Be aware that we may encounter Fluffy the Emu who is very inquisitive and friendly.

This weekly hike will not happen any  week that it is raining as the tracks do get slippery.

  • Walking shoes/boots
