The Doonella Wetlands Nature Reserve is at Lake Doonella, the smallest of the Noosa River system's lakes. This is an easy 8:5km loop trail on a paved path with no hills. The walk passes through rainforest, around parklands with tall trees and then beside the mangroves of Lake Doonella.

There are often many bird species. The final section is through suburban streets back to our starting point. Morning tea will be at the bakery.

This easy Friday walk is a good opportunity for prospective members to meet other bushwalkers  and do one of the three walks required by the club to join.
