>Other Details:

From the the meeting point there is a short walk before entering into Noosa National Park Peregian Section. A small climb to the top of Emu Mountain will give a great view of the ocean and mountains.  Morning tea will be here enjoying the view.  The return walk home will be down the north side of the mountain and back on the same path home.  The walk will finish before lunch and is approximately 10ks.

Grading easy to medium - if there has been recent rain the track could have some muddy sections.  (Grade 2 track - Graded track, with obstacles such as rock or root intrusions, fallen debis or creek crossings)

No Toilet or water facilities availabble on the track.

As the hike is in a National Park, no dogs are allowed.                                                                                          Participants need to have a reasonable level of fitness as we do encounter a couple of hills. We will walk at the group pace and there will always be a "Tail end Charlie" behind the last hiker but we do ask that participants do have some confidence that they can complete 10km

>Wet Weather Contingelncy (if relevant):

If weather conditions or any other issues are of concern the leader will contact registered participants as soon as possible.
