This is a walk in Partnership with Sunshine Coast Council's Healthy Sunshine Coast Program. We will meet at the Old Witta Store on the corner of Gumland Drive and Maleny Kenilworth Road to car pool to the start of the walk (about 15-20 mins drive). We'll walk the shaded maintenance tracks through the eucalypt forest with vine scrub in the creek lines. Morning tea stop will be at the Chinaman Creek falls lookout. Some creek /rock hopping along a short section to the lookout and a couple of steep downhill sections which can be a bit slippery (hence the 3 rating) - otherwise most of the walk is on a graded track. There is also an option to have lunch at the cafe when we get back to the cars. Distance 8km with elevation gain and loss of 142m.
