This approximately 20 km walk will follow part of the Cooloola Great Walk, following sandy trails behind the beach dunes. We will walk to Mt Seewah, more a sandhill than a mountain, where there are great views back to Noosa and across Lake Coothakaba. This is our turn around point There is the option on our return to walk on the beach but we will check this on the day as there is quite often a lot of 4WD traffic on the weekend. This will ruin the ambience !!
Our meeting place is at the Noosa Northshore Ferry point at the end of Moorindil Street, Tewantin. There is a fee for the ferry crossing of $10.00 per car each way. So we will aim for three cars with 4 passengers per car. Each will pay the driver $5.00 share of the ferry fee. Finish approx 3.00pm depending on the pace and rest stops
