Bring morning tea. A walk of 7-8km with around 25m of elevation gain and loss, this is an easy walk along graded tracks. If there has been recent rain you will not be able to avoid walking through the ankle-deep inundated tracks so waterproof boots are advised. We will walk through wet heathland, melaleuca forest, banksia woodland and scribbly gum forest. What wildflowers will be out will depend on the weather, but we should enjoy banksias, boronias, wattles, hakeas, native iris and lilies. The walk will be at a leisurely pace to seek out, enjoy and photograph the flowers.

What to bring:
  • Morning tea
  • Walking shoes/boots suitable for possible wet conditions
  • Water
